From Monday 8th of November we will be collecting surplus milk from the wonderful Proper Good Dairy on a weekly basis. We’re looking for volunteers to help us with our exciting new zero-waste milk round!
We’re really pleased to be working with this lovely local supplier, making sure none of the milk they produce goes to waste by sharing it with our partner groups who will put it to good use.
There are two roles available:
- We are looking for regular volunteers (milkmen and women if you like!) to take Ronnie the van and collect up to 100 litres of bottled milk from Church Stretton every Monday afternoon (2pm-to 4pm) and bring the milk back to the depot to the fridge there.
- We are then looking for regular volunteers to deliver the milk out to our groups on a Tuesday from 11.30am This will be an estimated 2 hour run.
It will involved lifted around 100 litre of milk in crates!
